Ryan85
On all threads bout air filters I c everyone saying knn or green panel filters are pipercross any good? Or do u need cotton gauze type ones?
Scoobyghost
Pipercross are perfectly acceptable. Try to avoid oiled filters.

Scoobyghost
Mishimoto are a good company and well respected but I couldn't comment on any cone filters.

Gambit
Got a panel pipe cross in the blobeye and K&N Apollo in the bugeye not seen any differance at all to be honest, lol [emoji1] I think it's just something people on forums like to fall out about. [emoji6] but the panel filters are well designed so no real reason to change it unless you want too.

Scoobyghost
I use a panel filter and decat down pipe. I get turbo whistle. Only -0.2 up to 0 bar.

Gambit
Shouldn't get that unless you actually fit a VTA dump Vale.

8ulldog
On an 08+ WRX there will be very little difference, aside from price, from an induction kit vs decent filter. I ran K&N on mine (About £35 if memory serves). I have an AEM induction kit on my STi now and it has probably gained me around 5 of the 340 horses.
