February 16, 20169 yr You might be lucky enough that it's only slipped a few teeth but your right the boxer lump is a "interference" engine. Just thought it's worth a squint before you do a compression test . If it's not broke .....upgrade it 😊

February 18, 20169 yr There is another fuse box near the bonnet catch under the drivers side kick panel. Unsure if That's were the main relay is as "sparks" ain't my thing and my brv normally helps in that department [emoji6] If it's not broke .....upgrade it 😊

February 18, 20169 yr Author Yes all was good. Removed all spark plugs today. It does seem that the engine was flooded replacing spark plugs with new ones tomoz and letting some fuel evaporate. Will use a blowtorch tomoz to remove any residue. Put back together and hopefully will start. Sent from my SM-G920F using Tapatalk

February 24, 20169 yr Author Knackered plugs. Soaking plugs, leads not brilliant. Didn't think it would flood that easily either. Start fine one minute then done. But the fault finding caused me to find some earth issues on the car. All in all a nice job. And a happy scooby owner. Sent from my SM-G920F using Tapatalk
