savage bulldogs Posted February 16, 2016 Posted February 16, 2016 You might be lucky enough that it's only slipped a few teeth but your right the boxer lump is a "interference" engine. Just thought it's worth a squint before you do a compression test . If it's not broke .....upgrade it 😊

Unsure if That's were the main relay is as "sparks" ain't my thing and my brv normally helps in that department [emoji6] If it's not broke .....upgrade it 😊 1

lev1982 Posted February 18, 2016 Author Posted February 18, 2016 Yes all was good. Removed all spark plugs today. It does seem that the engine was flooded replacing spark plugs with new ones tomoz and letting some fuel evaporate. Will use a blowtorch tomoz to remove any residue. lev1982 Posted February 24, 2016 Author Posted February 24, 2016 Knackered plugs. Soaking plugs, leads not brilliant. Didn't think it would flood that easily either. Start fine one minute then done.
