lev1982
Not done that yet. That's next on my list. If the timing was out wouldn't that kill the engine? Sent from my SM-G920F using Tapatalk
savage bulldogs
You might be lucky enough that it's only slipped a few teeth but your right the boxer lump is a "interference" engine. Just thought it's worth a squint before you do a compression test . If it's not broke .....upgrade it 😊
lev1982
The covers look like a ball ache to get off. I have time. But really want her running now. I miss her lol. Could this problem happen if she is completely flooded. Sent from my SM-G920F using Tapatalk

lev1982
Yes all was good. Removed all spark plugs today. It does seem that the engine was flooded replacing spark plugs with new ones tomoz and letting some fuel evaporate. Will use a blowtorch tomoz to remove any residue. Put back together and hopefully will start. Sent from my SM-G920F using Tapatalk

lev1982
Sorry for shouting but I'm happy. Can't thank all you guys enough for your help. It sounds like a scooby again. Scoobyghost
Was it down to the flooding?
lev1982
Knackered plugs. Soaking plugs, leads not brilliant. Didn't think it would flood that easily either. Start fine one minute then done. But the fault finding caused me to find some earth issues on the car. All in all a nice job. And a happy scooby owner.
