majik_thighs Posted May 25, 2016 Posted May 25, 2016 Just paid a lad £100 to detail the paintwork....arthritis won`t let me do it myself He spent all day Sunday on it and the result is superb, removed 11 years of swirls and brought it back to it`s showroom shine. Not that it was bad at all but it just needed a good going over. I now have to get the alloys done and was thinking maybe of changing the colour.......I don`t mean red or gold or anything garish but maybe a gunmetal/graphite grey. What do you think? 1
Consti Posted May 25, 2016 Posted May 25, 2016 Chromium Black or Bronze go well with dark cars. Widetrack [emoji3]
majik_thighs Posted May 25, 2016 Author Posted May 25, 2016 Hi Dave...............how`s that protective cover strip you bought for your rear bumper?......That`s something else I need to be getting.
david1972 Posted May 25, 2016 Posted May 25, 2016 Standing up well mate - well worth the little it cost me and looks good too
majik_thighs Posted May 30, 2016 Author Posted May 30, 2016 Stop press! It looks like I may have to shelve the idea for now, I noticed yesterday whilst buffing my trumpets that it needs a new exhaust so that`s £400 to start with.
david1972 Posted May 30, 2016 Posted May 30, 2016 Bummer...y-pipe finally gone? Sent from my iphone using Tapatalk
majik_thighs Posted May 30, 2016 Author Posted May 30, 2016 Yes Dave! 92`000 miles though so not done bad......both back boxes are ok and it`s hardly blowing at all, i`m gonna see if I can get it welded and last a few weeks longer till I have the money.
majik_thighs Posted June 15, 2016 Author Posted June 15, 2016 Had a nice new cat-back system fitted today, sounds very nice....just a subtle bass drone ...I didn`t want a boy-racer eardrum basher. 3
