Hi guys.

A bit of an issue.  I can't open my boot from inside but it will open with key .  I have checked that latch on the boot itself and its not that that's causing the issue.

Looking at the cable I think it's overly stretched.  What do you guys think?

Any help appreciated.

Or snapped ?

Can you get at it to see if it's come away ?

It's not snapped. Someone can pull the lever from the cabin and I can see the Bowden cable move. So definately not snapped.

Maybe the cable has stretched or it's possible the handle in the footwell has bent. It'll still pull the cable but one the tension is too high the plastic will bend instead off pulling the cable further. I had that on an old hatchback

the handle seems fine in the footwell.  I've had the cover off to look and its straight and lines up with the fuel filler release too.  i think the cable has stretched looking at the pic.  has anyone got a fix for this as i dont want to replace the cable as it looks like a world of hurt!!!!

Probably a silly question but is there not a tensioner or adjustment? It'd be a right pig to install otherwise

Can't see any tensioners or any way to adjust it.  Don't want to replace it as it looks like a right pain in the !Removed!!!

bought that clamp thing from S3i and it works a treat.  I can now open my boot from the cabin.
