Hello.

Have just imported a forester sti.  I really want to make sure she is kept in great condition by keeping her regularly serviced.  I have no idea about the mechanics of cars but I'm keen to learn.  I'd really like to be able to service her myself.  Will this be possible?  How easy is it? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Cheers IA

Hello &welcome, once you've got your head round the layout of the engine it's fairly simple, filters are easy to get to, draining the fluids & re filling, spark plugs can be a bit fiddly but nothing to major.

Thank you - I think I'd need someone to show me exactly.  Do you know who would be willing to help? x

We're in Newton Stacey (between Andover and Winchester - very near Chilbolton, Wherwell and Barton Stacey).  x

I'd be more than willing to show you on Skype if you like! I have a classic engine but the layout is basically the same thing!
