donnylad Posted September 14, 2016 Author Posted September 14, 2016 sandals do you know how many gaskets I need mate? I understand get OEM ones, any chance of a link to a pack that does the lot? thanks in advance sir!
donnylad Posted September 14, 2016 Author Posted September 14, 2016 Another thought, should i heat wrap the header? If so what wrap is good and should i do this before it is fitted?
savage bulldogs Posted September 14, 2016 Posted September 14, 2016 Standard headers normally have heatsheilds attached but if they've been removed I'd heat wrap them . As they're very close to the sump and oil filter , plus it helps keep bay temps down. I normally use the titanium wrap with stainless steel cable ties , it's just off eBay (can't remember the seller ) They're a lot easier to wrap off [emoji106] Import car parts for genuine gaskets . Manifold to head gasket × 2 And manifold to up pipe x1 If it's not broke .....upgrade it 😊

kershaw-330s Posted September 16, 2016 Posted September 16, 2016 Sounds more like a spun bearing to me :/ glad it was something simple go RCM headers and magma heat wrap top quality and the heat wrap is defo worth it cos once you go tubular headers the heat that is generated is mental Sent from my Nokia 3310 using Tapatalk
