dgarside Posted November 13, 2016 Share Posted November 13, 2016 Hi Scoot, welcome and what you're seeing seems to be fairly common and comes from blow by. I had it from new with my WRX STi (latest shape) and decided to fit an AOS (Air Oil Seperator) to avoid it happening. Since then I've got really clean pipes and nothing at all in the intercooler, so less chance of the oil affecting the fuel/burn. Plenty on the market with IAG seeming to be the most recommended in the US, although I decided on the Perrin (which needed a few mods for right hand drive UK model). Catch cans are always another option but they need manually emptying of oil where as the AOS goes directly back to the sump. Hope that helps...
