Mecka Posted November 16, 2016 Posted November 16, 2016 Hello, please help me to identified HP on my map sheet!
Linx Posted November 16, 2016 Posted November 16, 2016 Now you're just showing off ! 😄 Sent from my HTC Desire 530 using Tapatalk
Tidgy Posted November 16, 2016 Posted November 16, 2016 One figure is at the fly 294, one at the wheels 248. However looks like whoever ran it doesn't have a clue what they are doing so could be way out. First off it should be in shoot_44 mode on the dyno, not 4f, also its been run in gear 4 where as a wrx 5 speed should be 3rd. (unless they put the info in wrong). My advice, take it somewhere that knows how to operate a dyno properly and get it rerun.
Mecka Posted November 16, 2016 Author Posted November 16, 2016 Thanks for replay yes he was testing at 4 gear!can you recommend any good dyno test runs?I'm baset in heathrow area!
Tidgy Posted November 16, 2016 Posted November 16, 2016 Not sure whos down that way tbh. Do you know who mapped it? Shouldn't look like a roller coaster and while fueling is ok the boost is doing strange things as well, typically it will peak then drop off up the rev range as it runs out of pull, not rise up the rev range. Although ignore the fueling and spool (was when my engine was fooked), see how the turbo peaks then slowly drops off, thats what i would expect to see
kershaw-330s Posted November 16, 2016 Posted November 16, 2016 Yes your curves just don't look right compared to mine but I have prob got a few more mods . If your up by Heathrow RCM isn't that far really Sent from my Nokia 3310 using Tapatalk
Piggysniffer Posted November 16, 2016 Posted November 16, 2016 i .... REALLY wanna know who mapped this 😜
kershaw-330s Posted November 16, 2016 Posted November 16, 2016 Jd modified looking at the dyno Sent from my Nokia 3310 using Tapatalk

kershaw-330s Posted November 16, 2016 Posted November 16, 2016 Lol they're starting the run from far too low in the rev range too never seen a scooby start that low before :/ Sent from my Nokia 3310 using Tapatalk
kershaw-330s Posted November 16, 2016 Posted November 16, 2016 What does the bp 101 at bottom of the graph relate too anyone know because I alway thought it was octain of fuel lol don't know why . Because on mine it says 98.3 and tidgys 98.4 but this one 101 quite a bit of difference :/ Sent from my Nokia 3310 using Tapatalk
Mecka Posted November 16, 2016 Author Posted November 16, 2016 I think i need to check again!yes i was done by Jdmmodified
kershaw-330s Posted November 16, 2016 Posted November 16, 2016 Your power and torque should cross at 5252 rpm and yours crosses much before that something doesn't seam right Sent from my Nokia 3310 using Tapatalk

Dyno measures power at the wheels then calculates back to give a fly wheel figure. 1

Mecka Posted November 16, 2016 Author Posted November 16, 2016 Thanks guys for your quick replay.I will need to do another dyno to check my hp properly!
Tidgy Posted November 16, 2016 Posted November 16, 2016 basic process is take car to the right gear, then let it run down to near idle. At that point load is applied via the rollers to the car and then the pull happens.
stants Posted November 16, 2016 Posted November 16, 2016 Surrey rolling road is close, Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk

kershaw-330s Posted November 16, 2016 Posted November 16, 2016 Thanks guys for your quick replay.I will need to do another dyno to check my hp properly! Why do you think you need another dyno run doing has it been mapped ? . . Sent from my Nokia 3310 using Tapatalk
kershaw-330s Posted November 16, 2016 Posted November 16, 2016 Surrey rolling road is close, Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk thats where my car got cocked up Surrey rolling road is fine because normally tuners just hire it out . All depends who did the work for you really . What happened ? . Sent from my Nokia 3310 using Tapatalk
Mecka Posted November 16, 2016 Author Posted November 16, 2016 Tidgy replayed need to be tested on 3rd gear so maybe is not correct figures!Remap wasn't done in syrrey rolling road was done at Jdmmodified!

Sent from my Nokia 3310 using Tapatalk Yes your right, my mistake, not the fault of Surrey rolling road at all, was the guy that mapped it, I'm not going into it again as there's a huge thread (or two) on it
Tidgy Posted November 17, 2016 Posted November 17, 2016 if SRR is near enough then pop down. for dyno runs their ok.
