marcothio Posted December 29, 2016 Posted December 29, 2016 Hi, My car alarm went off the other day (I opened the door with the key vs remote unlock, to test it) and I didn't know how to shut off the alarm. I have the code, know where to enter the code but that's it. The supplied manual (looks like a subaru stock alarm system was build into my XV) isn't much help as it doesn't describe how to shut off the alarm in case it goes off (really silly). I managed to turn off the alarm by exiting the car, closing it using the remote and reopen it with the remote. There has to be more sophisticated way not? Anybody ideas?
stants Posted December 30, 2016 Posted December 30, 2016 There's a sigma how to in the faq's or how to guides, unfortunately as I'm on Tapatalk I can't post the link for some reason Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk
Swayze88 Posted December 30, 2016 Posted December 30, 2016 http://www.scoobypedia.co.uk/uploads/Knowledge/sigma_m30_manual.pdf Page 8 - looks like you should just type in your code then turn the key...
marcothio Posted January 7, 2017 Author Posted January 7, 2017 Thanks, will test it next time it goes off :)
Dogconker Posted January 19, 2017 Posted January 19, 2017 Generally it's easier just to lock and unlock the doors with the remote. I've had this happen to me.
