I'd like to safely add some power to that 2.2L boxer, but I'm not sure which route to take. Any suggestions? It's a naturally aspirated, bone stock engine. stants Posted January 25, 2017 Share Posted January 25, 2017 Hello & welcome, There's not a great deal you can do without chucking a load of money at a n/a scoob to gain more power, I'd go down the weight reduction and handling upgrades 1st, maybe a bigger brake set up to enable you to carry more speed with confidence. Not entirely sure but does yours have a rear sway/arb attached?
