I guess Subaru must have sold all the tooling and presses to them for the old forrester, Daewoo bought all the old tooling and presses for the astra from Opal years ago and sold the Daewoo Lanos via Halfords LOL!

My first car was a mk2 Astra while my nan had the newer daewoo version which wasn't a bad car

This isn't that unusual tbh. .. old patents and tooling get sold on all the time ....royal Enfield, the original beetle and and Honda c90 are all made in India now for there market ...and that's just of the top of my head theres lots more
