VickiS
Has anyone had alternator issues? Mine was changed late last year and has died again. Could possibly be a fault? Was the only one Euro car parts had for a BH5. Anyone know where to get a decent replacement?
Jay762
Was it a new aftermarket item or from a broken motor? Should last you longer than a year if it was a new aftermarket replacement. Have you checked the voltage across the Battery terminals when car is running, are you belts all in good order - not slipping?
Tidgy
as above, alternators are usually pretty bomb proof.
kershaw-330s
What makes you think it's the alternator that's failed ? Sent from my Nokia 3310 using Tapatalk
VickiS
Had a voltage check and there's nothing coming from the alternator. I have an earthing problem as well that's being looked in to. Does anyone now of any earthing kits available and where from? Going to Euros tomorrow to sort it as it's less than a year old. Was brand new and the only one they had for a BH5. Though did have to take it back when I first got it as they gave me a dud one. Belts are fine. Tonight belt will be changed in the next few months as it's due.
