February 21, 20178 yr Hi all, As you may know i've recently purchased my first turbo impreza! It has the PPP installed, but is a tad quiet for my liking. Will fitting a straight through centre pipe affect the back pressure so much that it will change the performance of the car? (I.e will it require a remap) Rest of the exhaust system is totally standard apart from the prodrive backbox. TIA! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
February 21, 20178 yr Nope! The centre pipe has a resonator so it's not really restrictive, just makes things quieter... when you start removing cats, that's when you get into remap territory
February 21, 20178 yr General rule suggest centre are rear are perfectly fine to swap out for larger bore or less restrictive.
