September 10, 20178 yr hi guys just wondering what peoples opinions on lowering the wrx wagon thinking of just going with lowering springs for now or would people just say go for some 18in alloys cheers for any replys

September 13, 20178 yr I'd say don't. You need suspension travel to stop bouncing at high speed on rough country lanes at over 80mph.
September 14, 20178 yr 20-30mm drop is a nice balance between looks and ride height, lower you go the firmer the ride will have be so the suspension doesn't bottom out. Personaly i'd drop it on lowering springs, eibaches or tiens are pretty good.
September 14, 20178 yr I lowered my old celica on eibachs, worst mod I did to that car. It wore the tyres on the inside I think? It changed the steering a bit, and made it a bit harsh over bumpy roads, not too bad though. I think personally, that if you are going to lower, do the whole package not just springs, you need to be able to adjust camber etc to compensate and stop uneven wear on the tyres. For my current car I dont want to lower it much but want to improve the ride, so am looking at koni adjustable shocks and some springs, not sure which ones yet.

Sounds like celica doesnt like just having springs. with a geo setup they work fine on scoobs. I;ve got a full set of pedders on mine but not sure if they do a wagon version or not yet?

September 15, 20178 yr Lowering any car will change the camber as it alters the angle of the wishbones [emoji6]I ran my elbaich pro springs for over 15k miles without any negative affects but i did have a geo set up done once they were fitted Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk
September 15, 20178 yr i have tien lowering springs on my 08 hatch,lowers it 30mm,closes the gap in arch just right and makes car feel a bit more secure round bends.
