Johng3165
Hi, looking to buy a 2010 diesel Forrester, 92,000 on the clock Service history etc, but how do I spot any potential problems, heard nightmares about , cranks etc, so was this resolved or still problem. Where is the engine number stamped on the block. Thanks in advance for any helpful advice, as on a budget and don't want to buy the proverbial lemon at first go. GeoffLeggy
Welcome! There do seem to be some issues around that time but I don't know enough about it to comment properly. Hopefully someone can shed more light on it for you but hope to see you around more one way or another.
Jay762
Wotcha and welcome - unfortunately much as I love most of the products a diesel engine is not Subarus crown jewels Does it have to be a diesel as dependant on driving requirements a petrol option can be the same or better financially
