Can anyone plz help me? Just bought an impreza wagon sport... Love the car, but unfortunatly i seem to have a fuel leak coming from the rear arch underneath the fuel filler, you can also smell fuel inside... Any help would be great, i will post pics later... Regards all...Steve..

Does the car run okay? - thinking possible blocked breather or failing that corroded / damaged pipe.

 

Can you get the wheel off and have a good look underneath the arch, post some pictures if possible?

Same as Jay 1st place I would look is fuel lines as Jay put it  corroded / damaged pipe

 

I'm sure someone posted the same problem a few weeks back

rule out the blockage then :)

Cheers lads, took up the back seat and all pipes seen fine, could'nt smell fuel anywhere!!! Looked under the carpets and no smell or visible signs of leaks....i will investigate further on Sunday and let ya know....thanks again...

Yeah if you could let us know be grateful I can't think what else is at the back would have a look under the car also same side as the filler see if there is any corrosion around that area not an easy job I know but worth a look if you can :(

!Removed! it....sorry for swearing :( i dont think the fuel problem is rellevant anymore :( diesel on the road!!! heavy right foot!!! and lamposts dont go very well together :( i am so !Removed! off......only got 3rd party insurance aswell................................

And agreed least nobody was seriously hurt yourself included. And feel for you mate I would be gutted. And without even being there can see it would be classed as a write off. :(

 

Only thing I would do if I was you. Is break it down yourself for part's, keep it for part's and buy another if you have room. Or sell it to a breakers/ebay it :(

No I would say get one without hesitation. And I try to say that going on my past car's and being bias that I own one lol. I just don't think I've had a car I have loved to drive as much. And can only see me driving Scooby's for the near future to come. And I was a Evo fan dare I say that here :) after driving an Evo 4 for awhile. But that soon past ;) and I have sold my soul.

I only had her for 3 weeks, but she was my ******:( left a Toyota Celica Gt for her... The GT was faster but no where near as good to drive....Save,Save and save some more...Turbo will deffo be next.... I wanna cry now:(.....

And not sure how much the guy wanted but someone posted a WRX wagon on here from Liverpool . And to cheer myself up I would be surfing ebay for what I want now and watching Youtube video's of Subaru's. After I had taken the drivers seat out the car so I could still sit in it :D
