errigallad Posted September 17, 2018 Posted September 17, 2018 I recently removed dash on 2006 hawkeye sti because of leaking heater radiator Since building the dash back I have eng management light on,airbag, diff temp and abs even after starting it will not go off The Battery was bad so I replaced it but same scenario Is it possible I've missed a plug and if so where? Or do i need it plugged in to a diagnostics
savage bulldogs Posted September 18, 2018 Posted September 18, 2018 Hopefully you've just missed a plug or chassis earth on assembly , have you checked fuses and ecu plugs, no coolant spillage near any electrics while changing the matrix ?
Mr B Posted September 19, 2018 Posted September 19, 2018 Would help diagnosis if new if ecu actually triggered those codes thus lights or if just goofy plug/wiring error in your dash assembly causing lights come on. I suspect harness plug seating issue and side effect is these warning clusters acting as earth route perhaps . As you done the repair only you have full insight to areas of potential damage physical or from water that might of occurred .
