Hi I have just bought a 2015 Subaru wrx sti and have bein advised to get a turbo timer. Are these needed? Thanks 


Total waste of money, just drive it the last few miles steady off boost and you'll do a far better job of preserving it mechanicly.

 

Just sat idle doesnt make all the fluids circulate, whoever advised you to get one really doesn't know what they are talking about, wasnt a facebook group was it?.

 

 

Also in the UK it is illegal to leave a car running unattended, even if it is on your driveway believe it or not. I always sit and let it run for a minute or so and if the fans kick in I always let them finish the cycle.
