February 22, 20214 yr Hi, first post on here, iv’e had my WR1 for a few years now, it’s totally stock apart from a set of Defi gauges, it runs and drives perfectly, now, toying with giving her maybe another 130 horses, I know the mods to take place to achieve this but any suggestions as to where to have the work done? Anyone on here done this? Cheers Teddwards.
February 23, 20214 yr hi - my 2p if it is stock I would keep it that way, the prices have been going up steadily over the last few years and it is more desirable (as a limited edition) in standard form. I would only replace parts if they needed replacing maybe invest in a panel filter, decat exhaust and a mild remap to suit - gain 30 or so BHP.
February 23, 20214 yr the uk 2.0 are pretty strong engines, so you should be able to run 400 without too much issue, bear in mind you'll need the right supporting mods to do it.
February 23, 20214 yr Author Hi, thanks for your thoughts, think I’ll take my time and see what options to take, my brother is of the same opinion, having owned all sorts from a classic 2000 turbo, P1, hatch etc, don’t touch it. 🤔 we’ll see. Cheers.
