Hi, I'm looking for subaru impreza 2.5 wrx or sti engine, my old one been upgraded to 350BHP, at Engine Tuner in Plymouth and after 2 weeks engine blow up, weak pistons they sad. I was thinking about rebuild but that's a cost between £4000-£4500 they sad, so I think it will be cheaper just to get whole engine 2.5 wrx or sti. Or if anybody knows where is the best place to go. Or I can sell it for some money. Cheers

just bite the bullet and get it rebuilt, the 2.5 in stock form is a bit of a lemon and you could swap it and it fail 2 weeks later again.

It depends on if you want to keep the car - Engine tuner will do you a proper job that (maintained correctly) will last you
