Right I've started the ball rolling Calendar done will update after every weekends events :) I will get a Top Gear Leaderboard sorted out either later or tomorrow

Looking at list of tracks i'd reckon on12-15 laps for most tracks would equate to 20min races so i've never really raced over 5 so should be interesting how long do tyres last normally ?

Can turn that off for tyres if need be, maybe for the 1st season it is meant to be fun. But I do like the sound of pit stops just to juice it up some more :) 

So we having an impreza too for the Topgear test track but standard. or go with a standard kia creed or what ever car it was :D

I wouldn't race the extreme monserat track we'll be there all night. The normal one would be better and nicer to drive.

I did think about leaving it out I might remove it yet I'm not a fan but you know someone will moan :D 

So are we making the 1st top gear challenge a standard 22B?

I'm gonna go dig the steering wheel out and put a time in.

Have to say playing it with a controller rather than wheel is so much harder. The brakes on mine lock with just the lightest pressure, and the steering is so sensitive a small movement left or right turns the steering wheel nearly a qtr of a turn lol.

What views does everyone use? For years I was a bonnet cam, have now switched to cockpit cam permanently just think it gives a better experience with the modern consoles.

I use that wireless horseshoe wheel, can't use the pad either

Yeah 22b everything off but you can have breaking lines. no mods at all, and as many laps as you feel really can't police it so no point putting a limit on so just what ever you think is the fastest you can go :D

 

well I noticed on forza 5 gives you an option with a clutch so I'm hoping they will have a nice big wheel coming out :D

But I'm always bonnet cam takes up to much screen in car but looks great if I had a wheel would maybe use it, but didn't see any change in my lap times being in car or cockpit view. 

I will post a my lap time up later too. Made work for myself with the way I've done it but thought it looked good :D

1:25.838 with controller and manual gears. Nightmare I kept going down instead of up gears :) oh and about 20 laps.

Will add you up on the board in a bit then just going to do a few laps myself so can do them both at the sametime and a time to try beat :D 

Not a bad time that Pete I kept getting a wheel going off track that would invalidate it but getting high 1.23.600 but did get a lap time and think I can go faster of 01.24.163 :)

I've taken a picture though just incase anyone wants proof of car and no mods with lap time :D

Where did you do the time? I went free play and hot lap, didn't give any invalid times for going off track.

Yeah thats what I did if you go off track you get a triangle with a ! in it  it doesn't register it as a lap just shows up as your last lap. The only lap that is your fastest and best should show up when you quit the race I will upload the picture in a second.
