Chaps

Due to change my front brake pads soon on my10 STI  - any recommendations rather than get the main dealer ones - do reasonable daily quick driving and 2 or 3 track days a year - want smoothness and quietness - so not just track brakes - any ideas or experiences?????

Thanks

Best place to go I think is www.godspeedbrakes.co.uk

I might email them see if we can get them to grace these forums :D

Agree with the suggestions from everyone else!

I can also recommend Mintex stuff, I've only ever used the road pads but they're great and not particularly expensive.  They also do fast road and motor sport spec pads.

My mate also swears by Pagid stuff but never I've never used it.  I believe Pagid were factory fit for a lot of performance cars so I guess they can't be bad either :)

I'm thinking of trying the mitex next and do a bit of track daying from time to time. wont be anytime soon though still need to get the pistone on the caliper sorted :(

EBC all the way for me. Ive ran both yellow and red stuff pads. the yellow stuff were better but then they were the next gen compared to the red stuff.

I've always bought my pads from EBC Direct. thik this are the correct one for your car. but prob best to put in the reg number and do another search.

im a fan of Mintex, have had the standard pads & the performance, have been happy with both.
perform well straight out the box, last well & a good price.

will be my next pads.
