Ran 328bhp , similar torque and was !Removed! nuts !

The wheels definately improved the looks and that is a very healthy performance figure...

been in the same boat though toys sold to buy house but it all sorts itself out :)

Wish I had one at 21 I doubt I could have even got insured  :( Mind you I did have fun at 14 driving around in a 6 year old XR3I my mates dad used to let us take it out as long as it came back with fuel in it

So I guess any car I got until I was 25 never really was going to feel up to much :(

I paid 1200 a year to insure it fully comp ! Had my dad on it too

Yeah I got it off a mech mate who preferred wagons he put a v4 Sti lump in it with a vf28

Nice. My younger brother was paying nearly £2000 for his Skyline at about 21,22 years of age I've never paid more than £700 a year fully comp for any of my cars, would grieve me. Mind you I'm that tight if the car infront uses it's windscreen washers I will get as close as I can to get some free screen wash

I was paying £1200 tpft for my bike at that time so was limited when it came to my car think I was in Mk1 vauxhall astra 1.2 or cavalier 1800gli at that point

I can't remember Escort GTI I think at 21 for me

That is the car I should have gone for instead of the cavalier as the Mk1 Astra was a solid car - had a few faults I never got to the bottom of but solid none the less

Always wanted the GTE after my phase of wanting an Xr2i I know a lad used have a red one he was a bit older than me I was just leaving school but used to tear !Removed! about in it went like stink.
