Would I see / hear any gains by getting a centre decat pipe? I've seen a magnex centre decat pipe with a resonator box in. Does any body have experience or heard these?
Jay762 Posted February 25, 2014 Posted February 25, 2014 removing the standard cat should get you some gains - not had any experience of magnex stuff - they used to have a great rep but that was many years ago so I wouldn't like to say
hilli182 Posted February 25, 2014 Author Posted February 25, 2014 I've had magnex on previous cars. And got the back box on mine now and they seem very solid systems Just wondered how much louder it would be? Whether it would be a bit o.t.t... but then again that's what it's all about isn't it :)

I imagine the 2.0 turbo petrol full time awd has something to do with it and emission laws/regulations. The newage have 3 one in the up-pipe before the turbo. Always fancied getting rid of this as the idea of it breaking up and destroying my turbo gives me shivers though I've not heard of that with the scoobys more so MR2s. I know they were put there to help catalyse when the engine is cold running My old vxr had 2 and in comparison I'm surprised the Scooby doesn't have 4 lol
