Just getting the beast ready for summer and saved up for a few mods but gettin different views on the air filter's undecided on uprated panel fillter or induction kit .

I think this is like the dump valve do I don't I :) I know a lot only have the panel filters myself I went with the K&N

this one and it did cost nearly £300 when I had it fitted to the car :) so cheaper now :)

As far as I know, a pannel filter won't require a remap where as with an induction kit a remap would be more benifical.

it would depend on the panel filter - a high flow one and an exhaust should have one as it could run a little lean.

 

with the induction kits some of them increase the diameter of the intake which again would benefit from a remap as you are flowing a greater volume of air
