bitman Posted May 9, 2014 Author Posted May 9, 2014 this 'Josh' was asked by Subaru US to drive the new Forester. have a look at his YouTube channel for more info. also how this Forester saved his life after a non fault crash. some points to think about when choosing a car.
Gaulson Posted May 9, 2014 Posted May 9, 2014 That's very impressive stuff! Had a look at the crash pics as well, amazing how well that forester held up. I do think when I have kids I will go for one of these (funds permitting).
stants Posted May 10, 2014 Posted May 10, 2014 I love the amount of clearance they have. Even with yhe running boards on mine It's still about 7 inchs. The newer generations sit a bit higher than the sf but I never fear getting stuck. During the minimal amount of off roading I do. August bank holiday haha. Bitman, does yours have a low range lever ? I see the older uk cars did but my jdm doesnt no idea why ?
david1972 Posted May 10, 2014 Posted May 10, 2014 Mine has the low range lever....never used it though [emoji15] Sent from my iphone using Tapatalk
bitman Posted May 10, 2014 Author Posted May 10, 2014 mine MY06 is an auto box and they never had a low gear ratio. with an auto box i don't really see the need for low ratio gear IMHO.
bitman Posted May 10, 2014 Author Posted May 10, 2014 Mine has the low range lever....never used it though [emoji15] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk you can better use it by times to make sure it get lubricated. 1
