Has anyone removed theres and have any of you kept it on the car

Never removed it so it's still on my car :)

Mines still on although I peeled the grey stuff off as it was hanging off.

My heat sheield is knackered for the turbo and thought if I don't have one one the heat from the turbo could make the bonnet proofing catch fire lol

I've been running without a hearlt shield for 6 months no fires here :-) removing will juat make it sound more awesome !

Removed it - glad I did as I discovered it was holding water and had rusted the scoop mounting bolts

I put on a chrome one made out of heatproof insulation stuff

I popped my bonnet one day and it fell off in bits, completely forgot I even had it till reading this

I have looked at putting mirrors under mine. Just so I can see if my bum looks big in the new gimp suit ;) 

I have one chrome bonnet heat shield left and will take it to the nbo if anyone wants it £10 I will be on the nesf stand
