Im going to have a shot at cleaning idle air control valve as idle starting to get erratic. I cant find a replacment gasket on the net for my model

About 3 quid from subaru direct. I did have a part no somewhere I'll see if I can find it

I got gasket finally done the clean. My question is would it immedeately idle alot better or does it need time to bed in ? As mine seems to have a slight improvement but not massive

Should idle better straight away. Its only used when the car is cold.
