Hi everyone,

Just bought a 2005 blob eye WRX which overall i'm very pleased with.

Impossible to drive without smiling!  I've spent the last few months driving a 2009 ka so it's quite a difference. (girlfriend's car) my car history is mainly ford pumas (i've had 4), also a lexus IS200, primera GT (in a way the impreza reminds me of the primera GT, albeit on steroids!), XR2is, etc etc etc.

One thing I didn't spot was the offside front wing has clearly been resprayed at some point. (slight colour difference)

car was HPI clear but obviously had some need to replace at some point.

It's 48W crystal grey - I know that silvers are notoriously difficult to match when spraying so my thinking is just to find someone breaking a 48W blob eye, and bolt the wing on.

If there are any flaws in my plan then a heads up would be much appreciated,

even better if anyone knows of a driver's side wing in the right colour available i'm very keen to hear from them!

Thanks in advance!

Steve

Wotcha and welcome Steve - If you wanted you could go for two wings, lights with a bumper and turn your motor into a hawkeye, easy conversion :)

Welcome :)

i've thought about the hawk eye conversion but I think strangely i prefer the blob eye style!
