As it says, looking to get my Forester 2.5 XTen remapped for the new exhaust + K&N filter panel.

Any recommendations on the South Coast or thereabouts?

'Scuse the noob questions, I currently don't know much about Scooby ECUs or the engines.

Is it absolutely necessary to get a re-map when fitting a free-flowing exhaust and/or a K&N filter panel, or is it OK to stick with the stock ECU map?

Obviously getting a re-map will make the engine use the new bits more efficiently, but will using the stock map damage the engine?

Some cars can run lean once fitting however mine didnt due to fitting a decat so kinda balanced itself out.

 

Get decat, Airfilter, and not sure if its the same but silicone Y pipe on top mount as original fold under certain boost, also for piece of mind get a uprated fuel pump :)

 

Jobs good and should expect about 270+
