Marcosal Posted August 2, 2015 Posted August 2, 2015 New member. Three XVs within 5 miles of me (but I live in the countryside). This is my third Subaru having previously owned two Legacy Estates. .
Dogconker Posted August 2, 2015 Posted August 2, 2015 I quite like the cherry pearl. I see you have the front under guard, also a silver roof? Sent from my iphone using Tapatalk
Marcosal Posted August 2, 2015 Posted August 2, 2015 It was a dealer car specked up with lots of extras for demo purposes. The roof is an aluminium effect wrap and it also has a tow bar, rear under guard and BRZ wheels so a bit of a one off.
Dogconker Posted August 2, 2015 Posted August 2, 2015 It's different, I'm undecided on the roof wrap, but I did think about the under guards, I had the bonnet stone guard, that looks nice Sent from my iphone using Tapatalk
david1972 Posted August 3, 2015 Posted August 3, 2015 Nice colour [emoji106] Sent from my iphone using Tapatalk
Rizmo Posted August 3, 2015 Posted August 3, 2015 Nice motor. Would have gone for that colour, if still available, but like the current red as well.
Dogconker Posted August 3, 2015 Posted August 3, 2015 Welcome, post up a pic if you can so we can see what you got Sent from my iphone using Tapatalk
KGB144 Posted August 4, 2015 Posted August 4, 2015 Don't have a picture but a standard XV 2.0D SE in Grey! ft
Dogconker Posted August 4, 2015 Posted August 4, 2015 Exactly the same as my wife's. It's a nice colour that grey Sent from my iphone using Tapatalk
bart Posted August 8, 2015 Posted August 8, 2015 Hello Chaps, We already have a Forester in the family and have a 2015/16 spec XV Dse due in October. KGB 144, How are you liking your XV ?
KGB144 Posted August 8, 2015 Posted August 8, 2015 Almost 2,500 miles covered in the last six weeks and so far I am very impressed. A lot more town driving over the past 10 days and average fuel consumption has dropped back a bit to 52.4 but still very good. We did some mild off-roading tonight and the car performed admirably. The car handles well, is light and easy to drive, comfortable and quiet. All in all very pleased. ft

It's amazing just what they can do, even on standard tyres .
Dogconker Posted August 8, 2015 Posted August 8, 2015 I drove my wife's up a steep grass bank while turning, had one wheel about 8" clear of the floor, never faltered. Actually pretty capable even if they don't have the extra systems you get in the forester and outback. I've been down some really rough tracks that actually ruined an Audi Q3 because of the lack of ground clearance. Sent from my iphone using Tapatalk
daboxerman Posted August 23, 2015 Posted August 23, 2015 Present and correct. Xv 2.0 d. Not really big enough for a family of 4 on holiday. BtW how do I get this conversation on taptatalk.
Dogconker Posted August 23, 2015 Posted August 23, 2015 I think if you've posted on it it should come up on your dashboard. We're going camping and need to take a load of stuff, we looked at buying the bigger Forester but for the extra cost we decided it would be cheaper just to drive 2 car loads down for the couple of times a year we have to do it.
