  1. Hello chaps, been a while. I think my turbo seals have gone or going on my VF35, I’m not that keen on the turbo anyhow as the boost comes on at around 3.5-4K and want it sooner. Rather than spend a fortune to replace the VF with another unit or get mine rebuilt, is it possible to bolt on a TD05 or will it need mapping? It couldn’t of happened at a worse time to be honest but hey ho.
  2. If you still have the snapped part of the key you will still be able to get a key cut. (Providing you have the V5 document). unsure how much it would cost though. I had a Astra coupe few years back and something in the barrel snapped so i couldn start the car. I phoned breakdown up, he hot wired the car so to speak to get me home. I had to stall the car outside my house to cut the engine. I phoned a auto locksmith and he built me a new barrel around my existing key for £80. Job sorted.
  3. Was this on eBay recently? Im sure this is the car that the previous owner lived near by. Beautiful looking motor.
  4. Can classic suspension fit on a newage? Iv read you can but top mounts need changing. Dont know what they need changing to?
  5. I have a slight knock on that corner aswel so maybe that what you have said. anyone have any rear struts lol
  6. Whats a strut rod bearing? Been in numerous garages to find the cause and as of yet there seems to be no fault. Iv got a hub coming to change that over, next will be suspension then ill do the lateral links.
  7. Its no matter where im parkerd mate. They aint atandard spring but unsure what drop it is.
  8. Anyone tell me why my rear passenger wheel has a slight camber on it? Drivers rear is spot on but other is a mile out. There is a slight knock noise on that back corner aswel. Will the trailing arm bush cause it to camber like that if its worn or knackered? Im thinking my suspension strut is bent.
  9. few from scoobyfest. Some stunning motors. I didnt agree with some cars not coming where they should but hey ho. Overall a decent day out and came back with afew ideas.
  10. Me and my dad are going. I locked the keys in the car whilst i was cleaning it and luckily i managed to get them out. I aint letting you know how either lol. So at 1 point i wasnt going but now i am.
  11. These are afew pics of some very nice scoobs I’ve come across. Most of you will know afew of them. The blue wagon S858 SUG is my old car (which i miss dearly lol). The white classic is another 1 i had N384 AAO, which is currently on ebay again. The best 1 out of them and the best subaru I’ve ever seen (IMO) is the black hawkeye T800 MMB, used to be owned by a nice chap called Mario.
  12. If its the same kind as whats on a bugeye, meaning the leavers are down by the drivers seat. All you do is undo the screw that attaches the plastic to the floor, the boot lever handle just slides off.
