fitted a Afterburner raptor, new Leds in the cluster, charged the battery, £40 of fuel, watched most of that dissappear.... and carbon wrapped and fitted a Group N rally induction vent.

cam sensor is a big fault, but once its on its on, i had it on my bug and classic, the issue with subaru's is the cheap ones may seem like a bargain but are generally cheap for a reason. ive been on the recieving end of a cheap subaru and im now upto 5k :(

21st/22nd of March is a spare weekend for me and while we are one month away from the monthly Yorkshire meets, i thought it would be nice to have a proper get togther and maybe get a few of the not so local lads involved and everyone has plenty of notice :) Now im thinking, big convoy to somewhere thats a good drive as mine has a few cobwebs to shake off, and we can bring the missus's or fella's Seaside.... just be careful, i bought some off ebay and they are !Removed!, two stopped working and caused a ground issue on the alternator, i have since got some better quality ones and it works fine, easy job to do, lower the steering column, undo the two phillips screws, pop the shroud off, there is then 3 more phillips screws, now pull an turn the left side of the cluster so its horizontal, there are 3 wire blocks that are in the top of the cluster, undo these and maneuver it out to the left.

Turns out it was the battery bulb on the cluster that had blown haha :) assorted and back to full strength

Haha I will do :) just had a full 3inch raptor fitted with megan downpipe :):) smiles are big and wide. Going to mess about with the leds now :) was the most bizarre thing ever when I watched the volt gauge when handbrake went on haha

I wouldn't mind but him driving with two hands on his mobile is surely worse than what ever he thought I'd done lol. We have a big issue with taxis around here, pulling out or stopping where they want :s the hazards are park wherever I want lights :)

Had a taxi cut me up, so I got back in the lane that was mine anyways, used abit of power to do so then backed down to speed limit, he then preceded to shoot up my !Removed!, and I realised he was trying to make me shoot off as he was filming me now I don't mind it tbh as I'm sure my car sounded great seen as it had my new raptor fitted, however I do laugh at his logic of using his phone to film me, even if I was doing something wrong which I wasnt Im sure he would have got points for filming me.on his phone lol, guess they don't like there own medicine eh.

It's even stranger than that mate, every time the handbrake goes on the alternator turns off :s I put some new leds in the cluster the other day and they haven't worked so got a feeling it's to do with those.

thats not too bad then :) debating spraying my van with it as it has loads of perks and you dont have to update the DVLA either.

Hi mate once i had my car rebuilt with different compression and forged it hated starting, this was caused by it running lean, have you had it on a dyno to make sure its getting the right fuel for the cold starts

Day before shes due to go in for the new afterburner raptor and disaster. Looks like while it has been sat offroad the alternator has packed in, which should be a laugh trying to get in down to martins tomorrow to fit the exhaust and the replacement alternator, if anyojne didnt know the alternators have a special chip in them which stop them charging while booting it, this is to give it extra power, so if you havent ran it in a while start it up and put the sidelights on as this tricks the alternator into filling up the battery quicker :) Hoping it is just an alternator issue as im rapidly falling out of love with it.

it seems very strange that it would only make less that 30 hp if im honest, hence why im saying take it to a rolling road, for it to get an increase in hp there has to be and increase in boost, however yours is running totally standard boost pressure, if remapped, most scoobs run around 1bar of boost or around 12-14 psi depending on the turbo, fueling etc. http://www.worldwidemetric.com/measurements.html
