Ive some Turbo 2000 uk lights, im not interested in a swap but i will sell them you.

best thing for noise is headers and turbo downpipe, once these are on oooo boy does it give a wicked sound

Little bit more done today for the first time in ages :) Stripped out the old Turbo 2000 headlights, spent half an hour the cleaning the sticky Bitumen tape off that subaru put on and then silicone on the other side that some clown before me had done. I had ordered some bitumen flashing tape, Exactly what is used to waterproof your roofs etc, this was then warmed and stuck the whole way around the hole of the lights and then folded in, to stop any pesky water getting in and ruining my boot. New boot seal was also fitted as some local ducks had decided to move in. Thats it for now however i have purchased a Vortex exhaust, Alloy anti lift kit and Coilovers which should be fitted next month all being well :) heres the before and afters. and some pic from the last meet.

Gaulson how long have you had that subaru?? ad the plate is very similar to the one I sold two years ago, miss that bug :(

Carburetor spray is better for check the idle as it makes the revs drop if there is a leak where your spraying

reverse the scoop, this allows air to travel over the scoop and inside, all the classics that do time attack do this :)

other than that it could be numerous things, Blowing exhaust gaskets , to leaky vac pipe as stated, havent had the ICV on the scoob, but on my RS turbo its a bugger for crudding up.

maybe clean the ICV with some brake cleaner as in the bad months these can get covered in crud.

ive got mine preordered for a while on the PS4 and as such have loads of goodies coming due to the delay, im up for a bit of co op as a few mates have it as well, my mates have it already and it looks awsome.

unplug the maf sensor and see if it runs better, if it does the maf is the issue.

a paddle clutch is horrendous when driving slow, it gives a really jerkiness when moving slow, especially while in traffic or moving off really slow, however they are good when moving fast through the gears, personally i hated mine when i had one in and it nearly gave me whiplash on several occasions.

The strange chip that you refer to will be an ESL piggy back chip as the Z4 ecu cannot be remapped, as savage said with the pipes come off the turbo and to the actuator, you need to get in touch with some one that can do live mapping on ESL chips, there are loads of people around, as i would be trying to find out why its making just standard boost and not more especially if someone has gone to the trouble of adding the chip to the board. also dont compare cars to others cars, get it on the rollers to make sure that its all healthy :) Ash

Good news about the remap Stant :) Mate is stripping his ridiculous STI, and i happened to walk in as this was happening, now have a load of parts for mine :) although she needs a new battery as its gone to heaven and keeps setting the alarm off every other minute.
