  1. ok so i was thinking last night......... I uploaded a pic of the scooby having just been washed and a few instagrams liked it and one asked to put it on his page, since then ive had 10 people start to follow me and its had over 180+likes... Now i reckon if i can get the go ahead with you lads up top that we could set up an instagram page where we upload our cars and follow the other lads with scoobys, this will get us out to a better audience than say FB and it will help us expand even further, ive looked into doing it and its easy, i can share the User name and pw out to a select few admins and then the work load is shared as you know im sometimes busy with work etc. Just my two cents let me know what you think. :)
  2. ok lets spread the word and wake up whitby
  3. looks good mate , looks forward to seeing how far the build takes you, and if you need any advice give us a shout :) i use a scooby worx 3 port on mine and cant fault it, why not loose the air box and get a cone filter if your getting a remap and then go maffless.
  4. i used Tesco alot till someone noticed issues with it and his had sedament in it, i have since vowed to only used V power or if im desperate ill put a tiny bit of BP in

  9. Got my hands on a Group N rally Induction vent for the bonnet, im a bit 50/50 with it the moment, looks alot better since i wrapped it in carbon but may need another one just to set it off, used some snow foam and gave her a quick once over, and then 5 mins after i finished there was a cloud burst

  13. That my wheels, as savage said they will have to be rolled if you want passengers in im afraid. cant really tell mine have been rolled unless you look under the arches, i also actually believe mine may be 17's haha :)
  14. Abby would be a good place, great photo op as well.
  15. Chemical Guys - Premium Blue Wheel Cleaner Dodo Juice - Blue Velvet (30ml) Chemical Guys - Stripper Scent Pocket Sized Victoria Concours Kit Size - 3oz Autoglym - Metal Polish Dodo Juice - Born Slippy 500ml Bit of a mix match but after spending over an hour scanning forums ive decided to give this lot a bash, also rang 3 mates that have used various pieces of what i have ordered. All this was bought from Clean your car Tom :) was comparing prices and although ebay doesnt have the VAT on for some of the kits, dodo juice is still a fair old whack on the bay.
  16. ive seen them in work at a couple of the shows i go to but im always topped up by this point haha. i think for now its Megs vs autoglym
  17. You know what they say about big Alloys..... Big tyres..... Im so funny :) I believe on mine to fit the 18's the previous owner had to have the arches rolled for when he had passengers in the back, so this could be a consideration.
  18. well i think most of us will meet up near to A roads but can anyone chuck a suggestion for best meeting place in whitby.
  19. ooooook so im totally out of all of my cleaning stuff now, and im looking for something new, ive tried the G3 stuff and was happy with it, Tried Autoglym and its ok, and then i tried Megiaurs again ok. I'm looking for a full cleaning kit really something where i dont have to buy all the extras and have a budget of around £80. Im looking for a kit that consits of the following: Shampoo Polish Wax Tyre Dressing Interior Cleaner and maybe engine cleaner Ive seen a few and have contemplated getting Dodo Juice for a while but in two minds at the moment. what would you guys suggest.
  20. Checked weather today and it's going to be be fine?? Bringing a stunt kite which I won at the arcades and have never used haha :)
  21. in the manual it states to use 98, the only way i was told by a mapper to run 95 is if you have it remapped for it, but you loose bhp.
  22. haha yeah i reckon mate, if your bringing the nipper we will avoid the fast back whacks.
  23. They can actually as it states, if you dont declare your mods your uninsured in the same way as if you insure the car in someone elses name and drive it around every day, happened to an old mate of mine a few years ago, 1.4 astra with a 2ltr redtop in and it was !Removed! quick too, they siezed the car to go over it all and then gave him the option to pay the fine of impound and he had to insure it for what it was to get the car back. there are alot of corsa around here that are driven by young uns with redtops and even saw one the other day with a turbo engine in, i for one would be pretty !Removed! if they lost talent and smashed into my scoob to find they wasnt insured... im sure everyone would feel the same.
  24. stants its sunday matey. can meet at the services, im getting another 2 cars to come down, nick and stants if you guys have got mates that are intrested invite them as it would appear its just us 3 if not.
  25. a bloke who came to one of the sheffield meets maps his own car, said he started by buying the esl board and having a play around with the settings, if you have all the right gauges and a exhaust temp sensor it should be relatively easy and you can back your intial map up as well before tweaking.
