m old bug had stainless headers, upipe and turbo back 2.5 inch and k&N cone and made 276 and 260 which is very rare for a td04, however i would factor in the possibility of a clutch with a remap as mine shat it self and liked to slip with 18 psi :s TD05 route is good but tbh only reason im doing it is ive got most of the bits anyway and a closed deck block, and having to get engine bored due to previous owner, my bug was more than liverly enough at 276 and was great on fuel and reliable, much passed the 330-350 and your reliability comes down, so i would say if you use it ever day go td04 route :)

doing this at the moment, for worth while, upgrade to sti yellow injectors, fuel pump, DV, and STI newage top mount, also you will desperately need a remap, and will happily see around 320+ the TD05 itself will most likely need adjusting as they are top mount and ours are front mount :)

A Minimum Post Limit For Certain Part Of Forum As the title says really, just about every forum ive been on/part of/viewed recently has these. Driftworks for example you need to post a minimum of 30 posts before you can sell or buy on the forum. Now i'm not really one to whine, but the latest car thats for sale, the seller has one post..... now i'm not saying everyone is bad that comes on to sell and most probably stay when they see how friendly we are etc. I Just think it would stop the trolls and stop people A. being Time-wasted B. allowing a little more trust. The only cons I see from doing this are Spam, people constantly posting to bump up their count but I think this would be pretty obvious to spot. now is it just me or ??

Thanks, ive had a few mapped so i know what they max out at, seems like good figures however torque is slightly low down the scale. After reading up though it seems a good little project he has got going.

305bhp from a Standard TD04, do you have a print out for this ? as if you do yours would be the best in the country, as far as im aware the best mapped was 280ish ?.
