I think they're for outside of the car mate. You'd need reversed ones. Which I know a man who can but it's not from the club. Which reminds me ghost wanted some lol.

Engine swap?
As said above from me too really, but if you still want to do it it's your money so won't say don't do it. But I look at any mods you can do to help the handling and see if you can drop some of the weight. That will help and be cheaper. But as Savage said if you still want to do it. But if you do remember the project thread ;)

Thermostat question
About 3 years ago my air con pump sounded like it had ball bearings in it so cut the belt. Off to be fair I did think about removing the pump for the weight just bever got round to it lol. Bit id say chances it will be the pump gone if its got no belt. Can get a second hand one though if it is and you want to replace it.

Thermostat question
Mine sits below halfway. But have seen it go to just below half when it was a hot day stuck in traffic but the fans brought it down again and we had started to move again. But only time ive noticed it go that far up. But I'd say each car is a tiny bit different. Because of grades of coolant and such.

Thermostat question
The temp gauge does go up fairly quickly. Well say 5 minutes of driving. And after that because it's warmed the engine up already doesn't seem to take as long as in the morning. Your oil will take alot longer to get to full optimal temperature though so just keep in mind even if the needles been sat nice and warm position for awhile.

New owner!
Crazy that £300 for a dump valve :o I wouldn't normally say it but I'd just stick it on. keep the recirc in the glove box not like it's a power upgrade or anything.

Thermostat question
Hi mate welcome to S.O.C Don't have anything to add to what's been said. But I do have a turbo timer but agree not needed really in modern car's now. But on a spirited drive I do like to use it. Saying that I still leave it for 30 seconds on a normal drive but mainly because it's there. the 55 plate I don't have one and will happily turn it off . :)

MODIFIED LIVE CADWELL PARK SATURDAY Saturday 25th April 2015
Ok it's booked anyone going want me to put their car forward as the special one ? Need the details listed below asap. :) Hi everyone! If you are receiving this e-mail, it’s because your car club is booked in to attend Modified Live on April 25th at Cadwell Park. Congrats and Thanks for joining us. My name is Dan and I am helping to spread the word about the show through our social media channels, and I need your help to do so. There is only 9 days left until the show (I know, where did that time go, eh?!) – and I would like to post up about your club on our Facebook page. Can you please let me know the following (where applicable): - The Website of your Car Club - The Facebook page of your car club - How and when was your car club formed? - Where in the country is your club based? - Have you been to Modified Live before? - How many cars are you bringing to ML? Finally.. - Can you send me details (a few pics and a spec list) of any car(s) in your club that are particularly special? It may be just one car or a few. It may be a car that has just been completed, and will be seen for the first time at ML – or it may simply be the most modified or most popular car in your club – Basically, a car that represents what you’re all about. I would like to use this info on our ML Facebook page immediately, and will obviously tag your club in any relevant posts. Our plan this year is to make Modified Live THE car club show. Please help us achieve this by sending me any info you feel is relevant. Thanks in advance for your help. Dan Goodyer
