  1. Well signs look more promising thats it's not so panic over mate :D
  2. It's worth keeping an eye on more so with a new car like these gives you an idea of how many times you will need to top it up if at all :)
  3. Cheers Jay there was me clicking around for it :D We're like a well oiled machine here ;)
  4. Haha in the Dishwasher made me chuckle :D Would this Deox gel not do the same job take a look at this page 3 near the bottom http://uk.subaruownersclub.com/forums/topic/4905-2005-impreza-sti/page-3
  5. Just seeing how many would be putting a laptime up on a Leaderboard for Forza 5 on the Xbox one ? Will be like what we do in Forza 4 standard 22b no mods no diff adjustments. and the laps have to be clean lap times like so http://uk.subaruownersclub.com/forums/topic/3529-top-gear-test-track-league-leaderboard-trophies/ Just gives us Xbox one owners something to do while we wait for the back markers to catch up ;)
  6. It certainly did. I even stopped what I was doing :D I've not fitted one either sorry seen a few with them on though and ones you can remove to hide out the way.
  7. Did they do them all including cam belts does it say or just the Steering and aircon belts. I've seen cars people have bought private saying it's been done to find all they did was swap the two front belts over when we looked through the paperwork, and looked behind the covers they was worn. Not trying to scare you or anything just worth double checking with it being a new car and once scare proteninally over :D might as well do it all and get it out the way I can see you are wanting to do your best for the car too :) But it shouldn't have been frayed that would worry me a little on how well they was all fitted if its been done.
  8. What I'm set at 1.3 bars it's very niiiice :D And did you want this post moving to the Project section mate ?
  9. I think he sold them to another member if I remember. But I'm not 100% sure I been drunk since then ;)
  10. I shouldn't worry too much about the squeak I'd maybe say aircon pump, or the belts when was they done/changed ? Their a bit more important :) With only a few bubbles I'd agree with it being more blocked up or cracked rad than HG now. :)
  11. Looks good mate just had to do that stint in Kenya and save some cash up while you're there. Get the rest of them plans in place ;)
  12. I just read your OP again there is markers on the tank you have to get right down and you will see two more prominent parts that stick out on the inside. Not easy to see at all but are there oversley bottom is low and top is high/full. As Tlag pointed out it's easy enough to drain down and fill up it's just making sure you have all the air out is more of a pain. And I would risk giving it a flush through. See how it goes keep some mixed water/antifreeze in the car as you drive and to Bristol just incase.
  13. I used the search thing at the top typed in resistors all sorts still couldn't find it :)
  14. I wouldn't use radweld others might say otherwise but for me seems to do more harm then good. Just a clean through should see it doing ok I think sniff tests if unsure is the only other way to be fully sure :)
  15. It might be just the pressure then from when you have been driving it if you drive it hard it will build up pressure and make it rise a little bit but then when stood over night pressures drops and should go back to normal. I probably have too much in my expansion really to what others have but I don't worry about it too much. not done any damage and if the Head gaskets going to go it will :) regardless of what I have the the expansion tank. Might be worth just giving it a flush through and a refill with fresh stuff. it's not over heating so thats a good sign but doesn't mean it hasn't gone. the bit's of it is worrying still from what I said before, but also could be just deadberry in the system if it's not been cleaned out for awhile.
  16. Thats not a good thing mate the metal one I always have is filled to just below the cap level. the plastic one I have about half full but it's just an expansion. Now you either have a leak or could be worse headgasket failure :( Have you seen any visible signs of coolant. Is it struggling to start in the morning at all ? the bit's in the water tank could be from head gasket sealer, meaning the person who sold it knew about it, or could just need a clean through with fresh stuff but with what you have said so far I'd say HG mate :(
  17. Yeah I couldn't find it after about 30 minutes of slurping tea, !Removed! and ball scratching I gave up
  18. well the £1 off has expired now unfortunately. But can get them from here http://www.mufflebox.com/collections/subaru/club-merchandise Gem and david are both after a custom sticker if you like :)
  19. I agree always nice to see a cars progress. I wish I had done it with mine I have lots of photos but was after I had got it to present day :(
  20. You're welcome and if you get stuck you know where we are :)
  21. Nobody should worry about their car on the stand hell mine has a crack on the front bumper and a massive scuff on the back one still. If I go I will try get them sorted but if I don't get chance I will still stand :D As with the club the events will be done the same in the aim everyone is all equal no matter about the car the idea is to meet people enjoy the day and just take part to have a good day. And to answer the other questions Yes it's just one day event No you can't camp on the event. But I'm sure there will be places around you can. BBQ aren't allowed either on the event. Insurance reasons :) But I'm sure most campsites won't mind you having one and a few beers. I know RB and a few are on about meeting up at Castle Combes before the event. So I'm sure it will be the same for this too :)
  22. Cool :) Yeah it's like an open and shut thing if you like. The door needs to be shut to show it's fine if it's open it thinks it's cold out so gives you a light :) But least it's sorted touch wood :D
