  1. I'm going with price, but thought they was good tyres when I used them before :)
  2. Worth getting them balanced and tracked up if it's not been done for awhile, check tyre pressures to try to have them as even all round as possible. Funny how that can make a unbalance feel a lot worse just being 5 psi lower
  3. Well I was reading up on metals not sure what the ones Pete has but if it's Forged Alloy it's dame strong and cheap to make, I might get some that I'm watching but not sure to go red with the calipers
  4. Like the sound of that least we can help with the verdict ;)
  5. I'm waiting for a price too :) But i did warn him i would try push work his way when possible ;)
  6. Sounds like my week took the alternator off to swap the Oil pressure sensor over and couldn't budge it in the time scale I had so had to roughly put it all back :( But did get to wash the car today so thats a + I guess :) But at least you know you wasn't on your own as a bad weeks goes :)

  11. Hi mate welcome to S.O.C And he's a good banana Dave :) I'm guessing silly me telling you about any meets that are in place. But please feel free to have a look around the forums and join in pretty laid back here up for a laugh, so I'm sure if you are friends with dave you will fit right in here :)

  13. Very nice I bet it sounds mint. I know I passed a red one with the blokes kids in the back with the windows down was at slow speed with both gave each other a tune of the exhausts I did love the sound of the Holden but judging his kids faces they liked mine more :D
  14. The black works for me also but I like the gold more :)
  15. Haha I bet it is I love the sound of them too :) I'd have said yes it was aloud if i could just to see a picture of it :D
  16. I agree with the vinyl wrapping my mate who does it was telling me about the types you can get. the Cheap stuff will always try to straighten it's self over time to try go back into its original shape like an elastic band does. But the better stuff is made to stay in it's shape once it's molded and stuck down he did say it's quicker and easier to fit too the good stuff so will end up with a better quality finish
  17. Better safe than sorry thats what I say mate, I know how easy it is to break bit's or clips when taking bit's off for the 1st time :D And least it's out now with nothing broken ;)
  18. I agree I may have to email and complain :D
  19. Gutted been nice to see though. But yeah it's Jap cars only, Ideally just Subarus for us but I don't mind letting some other makes on Boot's can get them put to theback out the way so the subarus can sit at the front :D
  20. Coolio As long as it's Japanese mate I don't mind. But if it's a Holdon the Security at Japfest will make him go park up in the carpark and refuse entry on the stand with it. Their rules not mine, and feel free to get as many as you want mate more the merrier :D
  21. Well I stood in Tesco and had a read of the hole Magazine just about :) Had to laugh at the Useful links. some of the sites that got picked made me chuckle. Useful if you want people taking the P out of you, or generally just having your car slagged off
  22. Right just to give everyone a heads up, we've come up with a closing date of the 6th March 2014 So should give anyone else planning to go time for the monthly pay to get in the bank :D So £22.50 gets you on the club stand no limited number of places so get booking ;)
  23. Hi mate welcome to S.O.C If we can help at all we will so feel free to ask away :D
  24. Glad nobody was hurt But think shouldn't be too bad but I guess until you take it off it's hard to tell :( And least you have a witness :) and 32 years of motoring and 1st accident least it wasn't your fault :) And you did well I had 2 crashes in car before I'd even got a licence :D
