  1. Not sure yet 1st time I've replaced it since I bought the hub from a scrap dealer. I wont do that again I will just go direct to main stealer's next time was only £220 for hub and bearing. I'd say everything now including the tracking labour and parts has cost me near £600 :( only joy is it was spread out through the year :D I'm not 100% sure he said it's destroying the back of the bearing as it some times stops it from turning. I'm thinking might just run it until it pop's and get another hub and bearing ready and chuck the old one on the scrap pile :( still have the !Removed! caliper to sort out yet :( oh well what happens when you have the bright idea of using 2nd hand parts to save money. Lesson learned :D
  2. Well been and picked her up need the front part of the hub where the alloy bolts onto it not sure what it's called as it will chew the bearing up again don't have any look with the dam N/S front :(
  3. I'd say be easy enough and least it's garaged mind you I still don't fancy being outside in mine :D I'm just waiting to hear about mine took it to have a bearing fitted 4 hour's ago now
  4. Oh I thought you was bothered about opening it and not being able to return it :D Hope the weather stays good for you to cold out there for me and crawling around on the floor :(
  5. I'm 1st to hold my hand up and say I do it. Most the time it's because I have an idiot up my !Removed! I knock it down a couple of gears and floor for a few yards to pull away from them. But if they come straight back at me I slow right down :D Mind you saying that I watched 2 police cars about 2am side by side at some traffic lights racing each other off the line I should have recorded it.
  6. I agree I thought they was just Denso ones too but some do have holes in so I wouldn't worry about that to much but I also thought the wire was longer that the one in your picture but other than that it does look right.
  7. Yep I agree with Tlag I'd put money on head gaskets
  8. I'm like that. You feel for the family and friends but sort of think it could have been some pedestrian they killed, A lad who I know is due out after doing 2 years inside for killing a woman at some lights whilst racing he over took on the junction the lights was on green but the woman had already started to cross so was over halfway on the other side of the road as he smashed into her. But I also know the guy and he's a really nice lad wouldn't ever start a fight with anyone unless you pi$$ed him off 1st but he would sooner walk away. But that moment of thrill seeking I guess on public roads we all do it I know ended with a woman dead. I was speaking to him before he was sent to prison and he was a mess, said all he can see when he closes his eye was her hitting the windscreen. Was put on loads of pills for depression and to help him sleep didn't drink much but started drinking after that. So it is tough I think the petrol head in use makes us feel for them. but our humanity pulls us the other way too :D
  9. I must have smashed about 30 laps in so far and not even beat my lap time set
  10. I'd rather be in front of a nice warm log fire or tucked up in bed :D Mind you I don't a good enough camera to be seen out in public for risking getting wet or cold ;)

  17. They do make a difference to breaking from the standard disc's and pads. Also upgrading the hose should give you a noticeable feel too :D I'm looking at doing all of the above once I've sorted the caliper problem out :D
