Subaru Impretza 2.0i AWD 1997
The only other thing to try is to adjust the clutch under the clutch pedal, the rod that goes into the master cylinder and that is connected to your pedal has a nut locking it in position on your pedal, loosen it think its a 12mm, then to adjust the pedal you need to turn the rod anti clockwise , maybe one or two rotations, its easier to turn if you take the R pin and shaft that holds the rod to the pedal mechanism of , then re assemble and see how it feels, you might need to adjust it a few times.

Learn something new every day on here. Oh and I agree Scrappy needed a good swift kick to the mid section. Well talking about reminiscing I came across a kids show I watched when I was younger Wiz bit. I soon see why my head was so messed up. it's like being on LSD :D And to be fair not sure what mental age I am but I still giggle at farts ;)

Nice one. Well I do have a problem with my key if I use that to lock the doors via the button and not the fob it plays havoc with the alarm and immobiliser. yet if I just use the Fob no problem at all. Any ideas :D I knew you would come in handy to me one day

Subaru Impretza 2.0i AWD 1997
How long ago was the clutch fitted might be bedding in maybe. I would have said sticky break's but if you had them checked. And like you say might be just getting used to an AWD car. I take it you have not had it long at all. Might be worth just checking the gear has gone in to 1st all the way too. So next time it does it keep the clutch down and just take it out of 1st then return it see if that works , it's not a fix but might be able to narrow it down a little :D

what ecu for more bhp ??
Well Jay listed in a lot better detail on what I was trying to say :) So his post best to look at if I was going to push it up to 400 I think I would upgrade fuel pump and injectors on the mods you have then a remap to suit. Only thing I didn't know was you could still get more BHP from the ECU even if the engine is not up to it. But I knew it would kill the engine quick ;)
