1. I prefer Hells fuel but !Removed! miles out of my way to get my nearest what I would save using it would spend getting there :( so Tesco or Total for me I have no choice :(
2. Said it before same with my car I know to resell it wouldn't make anything near as much as parts :( shame but needs must I guess. Out of interest are you selling the bonnet with the WRX scoop on ? I scratched mine like an idiot stood next to the car with a Squeegee in my hand thought be clever to just brush some of the water off and caught the side of the scoop :( I'm still not sure what possessed me to do it in the 1st place :D
3. To be fair that's around the mark I thought £5,500 to £6,000 I know book value would be a lot less but they never take into account anything other than age of the car. And definitely would like to see this got to another car/subaru enthusiast. If I'd had the money I would have been tempted myself for another toy to play with :(
4. Hi welcome to S.O.C Shame car looks mint condition from the pictures :( And not too badly priced those parts I see some people come on and over charge :D But seen the Prodrive UK300 spoiler's go for nearly £500 on the bay :o
5. Hi mate welcome to S.O.C Could be a few thing's has it overheated at all thermostat might have damaged so it's overheating and getting to hot and just letting go. Head gasket could have gone also :( I'd say your best bet is to get the system pressurised and tested. Your in Beverley if you wanted could speak with Martin at Sheffield Subaru Services top bloke I drive 76 miles one way to see him :D I'm near Grimsby If you had been more local to the West Midlands I'd have said have a word with Tlag or Bips on here they also repair and rebuild subaru engines both also extremely helpful and know their stuff.
6. Cheers will take a look for a laugh Torque Pro does a MPG but was a bit unsure how accurate it was with needing to set it up myself :D
7. Will have to let you tackle my big baby car seat I sit in ;)
8. Hi mate welcome to S.O.C A cylinder misfire can be caused by lack of spark, lack of compression or imbalance in the air/fuel mixture. Lack of spark can be caused by worn or damaged spark plugs or Coil pack, lack of compression by a blown head gasket and imbalance in the air/fuel mixture by a faulty fuel injector, fuel pump or pressure regulator. It can ultimately be a number of things so further diagnosis would be necessary to find the cause, and assess the damage and repair cost. I would start with the cheaper options 1st I don't think it would be a head gasket I'm sure you would know yourself if that had gone. So would start with the spark plugs then work back to the coil pack. And have you cleared the codes for it to return before you start ripping it to bits :D Yes I speak from experience on that part ;)
9. So you should be, it look's great :) And they are spot on Martin and his mate I didn't get his name when I was there mind you spoke to about 3 or 4 people when I was there :D But their both spot on I keep meaning to buzz him about a full hub and bearing and cambelt kit job in the next few month on mine.
10. I've used two Road Runner now called Ride Runner <<< Legal issue not sure why ;) but I'm using Centrafuse now so much better and feel's more how it should do compared to Ride Runner
11. You did it and I agree great job looks great :D
12. All the above is to help baby sleep ;) I wouldn't want to put a price on it, it's not my car and I know I wouldn't be able to afford the price that I would have thought either. So sorry that will be up to you and what you think it's worth and can get for it. :D
13. I have to agree with you with the noise but I can live with it, it's not overly loud and have had a good coverage of all types of weather other than snow and never felt once like they was not suitable for the job or the car. So 2nd your comment :D
14. Look's spot on be able to !Removed! now without any build up of back pressure ;) As for Dump Vales I know not for everyone but I think the HKS ssvq3 best on the market and sound more like a turbo chatter that people want most of the time than any other on the market. So for me Kudos to you :D
15. Hi mate welcome to S.O.C Some quick light reading here MPG if you are to worried by this maybe not a good start to owning one but you can get a fair return if you keep off the happy :D pedal. I call it SPM (Smiles Per Miles :D ) with what you have said I would say the WRX would be ideal for you but the STI is the better car of the two I say that without wanting to take anything away from the WRX it's just as fun to drive, and is still a quick car. For Insurance I would try our insurance and get discount as a club member HERE, I found green light insurance was very good insurance quote too. I would have a look in the Subaru's for sales section some really nice car's get posted in there but for £5,000 you should be able to get a pretty nice car for that money either a classic or a newage :)
16. Can't go wrong with that. If you're about ready for changing diff oil gearbox oil or oil and filter. Nows the time :D
17. :( they do look very similar
18. I do from the window that's why I don't need the pictures ;)
19. So perfect trade to me mate. And good result with the tyres I guess they could have been !Removed! holes about that :(
20. Not again... Come on mate I've told you I've moved on I don't need more pictures of your legs.
21. Good choice :) Lot's of stopping power now Just don't put any racing discs and pads on. Not done it myself but heard some horror stories from people who have :) Unless it's a track day car only of course.
22. My missus doesn't drive, apart from me mad ;)
23. Congratulations. And don't know what you mean about a family car. It's got 4 doors it's a family car thats what I tell my Missus AWD for safer handling ;)
