  1. For sure a hole lot of car. I hope it find's the right buyer for you mate I feel for you :( but If you ever want to travel up my way because you just need to work on a Subaru I will let you work on mine ;) Free of charge.
  2. Yep sounds like a full exhaust is needed if it's doing your head in that much. I take it turning the stereo up is making no difference :) Ad I will add one more un-useful comment you should have not sold the 1st one ;) lesson learned.
  3. Best of luck with them light's ;) one has had an air take put in that. but morette headlight I have them for my bug just because I liked them too more then the prodrive but they are had as nail's to find one of the other members got a swap deal with his angel eye's . But if you do a good mod to make ;)
  4. Welcome to S.O.C And yes you will get it all the time. I've had everything from van's Corsa's Saxos you name it. Biggest one I find and my all time pet hate Audi's. Ex BMW drivers or people with small minds and errrm small... Yeah you get the idea ;) Sometime's I can't help myself but show them what it can do. Other times I have this really loud high pitch noise when I do. But only when the Missus is in the car, still looking in to it ;)
  5. Ohhh hell roll the sleeves up boys that's a cracker... And 2nd that Pete might be worth a shot :)
  6. Hi mate welcome to S.O.C And sound dam good to me over 400 BHP. And might be along project but would be more then happy to watch this build take place. So plenty of pictures and updates more then welcome. Love a good project thread we have a few taking place :D
  7. :( Good luck with the sale I'm sure not take long for that to sell you can see it's wanted for nothing
  8. I agree the worst type's of problem. I've done it myself thrown money at it changing loads of parts :( I would have maybe gone with plugs but if you have had a service done that's ticked off. I would maybe look at giving the MAFS a clean amazing how much trouble that little beauty does if it's playing up. And cheaper to start with just the cleaning side of it then replacing parts ;)
  9. Well I still can't even get the YMCA part right :D
  10. I must have had lucky guess. I thought it was just a filter of some sort. I will now have to check wht side mine is but it's working fine.
  11. Hmmmm...Well I do think I have the moves like Jagger ;)
  12. Nice one glad you got it sorted I've nearly scratched down to the skull bone with this one ;)
  13. Found it http://uk.subaruownersclub.com/forums/topic/1828-wanting-to-borrow-wheels/ looking at what was said before they should fit. But I would always see if you could try one on the front just to make sure the caliper doesn't get in the way :D
  14. Just guessing maybe the company didn't like the look of you ;) But I'm sure one of my old gauges did it like that but was along time ago now I might just be visually think about how it would look :D
  15. Yeah don't think me singing would be a good idea ;)
  16. I wounder if that's how it is meant to be. Like it's showing the boost available off boost then foot down shows none
  17. Oh you did it that way I was lazy and have the sender behind the dash too with the vacuum hose going through ;) mainly because of the old clock. I would maybe check the wiring again just as a last ditched attempt. It's weird that you have had different problems with all 3 pipes you would think it would just be the same problem. And Jay sneaks in there again ;) I will go with Great minds here I think :)
  18. I would give it ago nothing to lose. Have you checked the pipes not squashed flat or kinked anyway as it goes behind the dash only thing I can think of :(
  19. No problem. And that's because I'm sad and have nothing much to do even when I'm working that there quick ;) it's not always like that you must have been one of the lucky few :D. Not sure there quality is always the best it can be but we do try our best. But thank you all the same :D And no you should be able to reply to other people's threads or on your 1st post if you want. But the forums not run like some !Removed! P.O.W camp so no just post away :D Just try keep it in the right rooms really. But if not we will move it without any moaning ;) You can search with the bar and it is linked via Google to the site but if you put wheels in it, it will show every thread that has wheels typed in like this one :)
  20. Both boost gauges I've had I had on the blue arrow with no problems. 1st one was mechanical. and now I'm on the electrical evo series. Strange that all 3 have been a problem :( Pete's is electrical too Jay
  21. I think they will there is another post some where that a member had a issue like this and it worked out they would fit if I can find it I will link it :) I can't find it now :( I know I looked into it I'm sure they would fit he wanted them while he get's his other ones resprayed Will have another look later to let you know for sure ;)
  22. eeek not a smooth running job then. But I'm sure you got the worst of it out the way :)
  23. Hi mate welcome to S.O.C little bit of bed time reading here http://uk.subaruownersclub.com/forums/topic/1619-help-check-guide-buying-1st-subaru/ And as for the clutch most people will upgraded them to stage 1 from the oem clutch with the AWD and the power, if you do a bit of launching, track days, what most of us here call spirited driving from time to time ;) I'm sure you know what I mean :) the OEM clutch is not good for all that and you can soon burn them out. And there not cheap to keep replacing so a good thing to have upgraded more so if you want more power upgrades to go with it that will kill the OEM clutch a lot quicker too. So yes good to know when buying one and if the flywheels been done to that is massive + for anything you want to upgrade. And I can't remember whats been posted in the sales section now and whats been sold but worth taking a look here http://uk.subaruownersclub.com/forums/forum/17-subarus-for-sale/ And hope to see some pictures when you find the one :)
  24. No worry's hope we can get it sorted out soon ;)
