  1. You're welcome mate we try to help out when we can. Not all member post I think that has a bit to do with other Subaru forums how some members speak to other's so they don't like to post on here and other might not have the answer to a question or have no knowledge at all like a mate of mine. Mind you I would be surprised if he could find his way around a woman ;) I understand some know more then other's. I don't know lot's myself I find by helping though I learn more for myself and other's :) And I would go with Tlag's advise someone with his back ground works with Subaru engines and has one as a toy I'd trust him with my car any day of the week ;)
  2. Read the comics I even had Dredd vs Batman hardback edition ;) And I have to agree the latest Dredd movie rocked. loved it when they drugged them up the effect's when the lobbed them off the building was great. I will sign up and post on my FB page too.
  3. I would say if you sell it I would say it will be a breaker that buy's it. the parts are worth more then the car's at the minute which is a shame see lots getting broken down so not going to be many left before long :( MD performance was on about the same thing. I would maybe look at what you want to still change on the car is it going to be worth the build and new part's like the exhaust. If it was mine I would repair it but it is like a pet Dog ;) almost apart of the family. Only good thing is if you do choose to rebuild it you know it's done and whats been done. I would say the car's value for good ones will increase. I would even say the not so good ones at some point when there is so little amount on the roads :) I know it's not helped really but as I've said before tough choice to make but only you can do that :)
  4. Before you do, have you got one that has the adjustable screw for the spring I'm guessing you don't know or you haven't. But I would just check that 1st. I've never taken one to bit's so not sure if it's easy I would saying getting it put back together is the worst part. If it even come's apart .
  5. :( Not had much look with that car sorry to hear mate
  6. Old song but loving this at the minute 1st link didn't work only other version I could find
  7. Sorry I can't help I'm not sure around that area :( Hopefully one of the other members will be able to help
  8. That's mean Jay you know there will be more enjoyment with the turbo car's :D But that's what I call smile's per miles ;)
  9. Looks good mate nice find. Now you have given me something else to add to my ever growing list ;)
  10. Mines always just been below the cap level and not done any harm on either scoob. And it's 7.7 litre's to be exact we was on about this on another thread ;) lol. But it was warm not hot when I checked so might be a bit lower. You shouldn't open the cap when it's hot ;)
  11. Hi mate welcome to S.O.C Sorry I have to run off now just wanted to let you know it has been seen hopefully someone will be able to help before I get back as there is a lot to read there :) Tlag, MD two best people I think to ask on here if they come on before me but know both are busy :( I know with the classic there is a trick you do with the black wires under the steering wheel the classic has a self diagnostic. Will have a look when I get back mate if nobody has been able to help before :(
  12. Ok mate sounds like best plan :D But please non of you in underwear again I'm still having nightmares :)
  13. Hi mate Sorry to hear the viewing was that bad, does sound like a rotter just from how you have talked about it :( And I think if they know nothing about the car best to stay away as I would say it was never really looked after with oil changes and so on :( As for uploading pictures you use photobucket or imgshack or anyother picture hosting site upload it there and above your reply to this topic you will have a a line of the smile face mymedia and so on below that there is a tree looking thing when you put the mouse over it should say image click that a little window should pop up go back to where you had hosted the picture and use the direct link and copy paste it into the little pop up window here and that's it :) like this And from what I can find it was just the 2006 that suffered the most with it but that's not to say others don't but does seem to be a lot less if at all. But hopefully someone else might be able to confirm that better then me :) And you are right not a cheap fix and the tax does go up as they changed the engine. I believe it's the same with the hawkeye impreza I know a few people that sold their Hawkeye's for that reason and went for blobeye's :( And I like the money saving idea ;)
  14. If it's the one I think you mean I take it to the cap level replace cap and wipe away any that might be sat on the top :)
  15. I would say crank sensor is failing under load. That's my guess anyway :D
  16. Hello mate welcome to S.O.C Plenty of people on here from your way :) . And please feel free to join in on the many random off topics we have ;)
  17. Sounds like your mates got a bit of know how so that's handy. And hope the job goes well for you mate least now it will be right and hopefully no leaks ;)
  18. Had a quick look yesterday when I see the message I think it's still it's own company :D Will have a full read up of both later and get them up. Only Fozzer manual is 2001 to 2004 but will look for more and add them as I find them

Nope sorry. Is your car UK or import sorry I can't remember but I'm sure you can't put one on a UK spec car. But don't hold me to that I know there is many amazing things have had done to the car's these days :) http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/SUBARU-IMPREZA-WRX-CLASSIC-1993-TO-1996-ENGINE-ECU-Z-4-/200958200218?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item2eca0ac99a
  21. :) Thats what my missus said when she found out she was pregnant ;)
  22. Oh ok got ya. And that might be true but that can only carry it for so long :)
  23. I agree I was watching one on ebay that was found in a barn in Germany and brought back here had 60miles on the clock that was it. this couple had bought at auction a country farm house with land, they went to a barn that was there to look inside nobody had been there for year's and had to cut the lock inside was 20+ cars all wrapped up inc this RS. Last time I looked it was at 22k But if I had the money and bought it I would feel guilty to even drive it it looked stunning not touched or modded
