I'm always safe and steady on bumps I was told once not sure if it has any truth init that bump do a lot of damage to the engine even at lowish speeds so I always slow down for them. Sod anyone else behind me that want's to almost jump off the bump it's my car :) I would have thought if it was going to come on it would have by now.

Should be able to do it with your hands unless you have a stuck pistone then it's game on sorting that out. I had to take the break fluid filler cap off and use a really long bar so I could get enough pull behind it. touch wood (touch's head) not had a problem since.

Touch wood I have only ever got pulled once and that was for my !Removed! head mate sat in the back of the Escort in the middle leaning forward between the 2 front seat's talking to me and another lad. We got pulled over for that and my mate went and told them I didn't have my belt on either the !Removed! :) It was £25 on the spot fine then. And I've always said I will argue until I know I have no choice but to do as I'm told :D
