  1. as long as you and the boy had a good time that's the main thing :D Did you go anywhere good ? And welcome back ;) I missed you like I miss my old gimp mask the leather got to worn :(
  2. Not a problem at all mate, and I'm more then happy to call myself a Geek. But I still like Star Wars more then Star Trek so as long as you can except me for who I am you are more then welcome here :) And here it's doesn't matter you have a Dirty Diesel ;) it's the badge on the front that counts ;) mind you I think most of us here like anything that either makes a noise needs fuel and goes fast. (and that's just the wife's) :)
  3. :( that's not fair maybe one or two just to ease the nervous :D
  4. I would try get some silicone oil spray jack the car up so you can see the chrome rod and give it a good spray. You might get lucky and it sort it out. Subaru's do suffer from knocking, as the suspension is at an angle to help with the balance and suffer from drying up. there is a bloke on youtube who drilled a hole in his and used some sort of filler valve so he could attach something to it to keep it topped up without needing to remove it all. Has to be worth a try 1st :)
  5. I must still be tired I read insect as incest
  6. Agreed nothing to lose and as for them being made in the same place I can believe it. I once went to a washing machine factory.... Long story :) but on the lines they had Zanussi washers coming down the line then at the end they was just putting on a different draw and fascia with a name I had never heard of. found out it was a budget line for Argos the cost difference for RRP was £200 :o
  7. Nice sounds like it could be a good buy.
  8. I agree I did think about having 3 for my car but they do look to much. I still need to get a double pod for mine seen one on ebay for less then £30 sheets. Shame that site only does the center pods for more then one pod :(
  9. The powers of WD-40 To be fair it still amazes me :) mind you I'm amazed I can even dress myself in the morning ;)
  10. Very nice and I agree you did get loads done it was grey in the last pictures :)
  11. I just live in my old motorcross protective gear. ;)
  12. Didn't fancy the 3 on the pillar then :) I take it, it makes it better to see there when you're doing speed runs and things. I know I don't really look at mine to much unless I'm sat at traffic lights :)
  13. They look good mate like the set up to :) I take it that's boost in the middle ? I have the Pro sport evo series and no they don't dim but I like them :) if there is a delay I have not seen it myself. http://prosportgauges.com/evo-series-Red-and-Blue.aspx Oh and feel free to bribe me with Beer. Might not work right after a few but I can put them in the car like on the back seat or something :D
  14. What gauges do you go for Bip ? Just out on interest :)
  15. Is it from the front of the car ? I would maybe go with the power steering belt if it is :)
  16. Let me guess it's the blown up picture of Steve in a mankini you're wanting to win ? :D
  17. I guess I do. I didn't even feel sorry for the old lady I knocked over. The reason I was buying the cleaning stuff for, to remove the mess ;)
  18. Not sure what year the car is but on the 2 in the garage there both on the right hand side near where the bonnet release is :)
  19. Yeah I used my fogs for some parts of the road home, made me feel like I was doing the Dakar Rally :) . The Mclaren p1 did kind of get my man juices flowing :)
  20. Yep its Torque it's a cool bit of kit for less then a £10 can't go wrong :) The MAFS would make it stall when you slow down for traffic lights and round about when you put the clutch in and revs drop from experience :(
  21. I can't remember what I put in mine without looking in the garage :( I only know it was full synth Will have a look when I get back :)
  22. Hi mate welcome to S.O.C Again I'm not sure about the diesel engines. And I only know 1 person near me who has one. had it from new and had no problems so I'm guessing there a good strong car :)
  23. I Think starting with the local area's will be 1st thing. With it being summer less people tend to use the forums. And would take some planning to try find a nice central place that people can get to make it fair, and places we can park and stay over. :)
