  2. That was my thought's but he did do a great job I couldn't fault it. It could have been in for a buffer it was there when I took my car and again when I picked it up two days later so I guess it was the owners I will take a trip next time I'm in Louth see if its there. If it is will get him on here and maybe to the BBQ for free buffs for everyone :D And I might lend him my hoover ;)

  9. I have found in the past before them kits are good for a temp fix but always happens again :( I've not long ago had a full battle with 1 of mine :(
  10. If Silver Scooby is still coming they will be late on, on the Friday as she is coming after work and has a 4 hour drive And 2 hours-ish is about right I think depends on traffic. have done it in less time but thats because I couldn't get away from IKEA fast enough :)
  11. I'm not 100% to be fair but if you don't have ABS but the hub has you should be fine, but not the other way round :( Did you see any ABS light on the dash when you started the car ? or like me not took any notice ;)

  17. Sure I'm just hosting it to get to know all the people face to face and have a laugh should be good fun bouncy castle is booked £60 for the day not sure if that's good but I've done it now :D Should be loads of meat to go round I hope I've not booked it yet will do that this week. :)

I would check the oil level 1st make sure its not low I have noticed when it drops they do tap a little but I like that as it lets me know :D they do make a bit more of a noise when cold but shouldn't last long at all no more then a minute. have a good play around with the gears too when you test drive it make sure they feel in shape, should be fine :)

  21. Hi mate welcome to S.O.C Rust is normally found in the normal spots door sills rear wheel arches near the bumper meets up with the metal. Other then that listen for any noise from the engine. I'm sure you will hear if there is anything wrong but Big ends is always been a fault. :( But hope all goes well and its a great car. Please feel to put some pictures up after you have bought it :D
