I'm looking for new wheels for my 2004 forester wanted wrx alloys which r 17's after trying they look like they'll be to close to the struts as mine is standard suspension & the offset is 55 & ill have to change the tyres so could I put 17's with 48 offset which is the same offset as mine will they fit straight on or stick with 16's but trying to find a nice set of 16's is proving hard any help welcome thanks ian:)

Look v nice in black my foresters black I was thinking black wheels on mine them wheels r nice :):)that's what I was looking at then the wrx wheels came along now seeing them in black changing of the mind again :):) if u did think of selling I would think about them :):)

Oh great now more options :) :) r there any nice 16 inch to fit 2004 forester I was struggling to decide on 17 now I'm pulling my hair out :):) & I'm on a tight budget thanks ian:)

No problem every bit of advice helpful , I spoke to subaru dealer who said wrx wheels will fit my 54 plate 2ltr xt which I think offset 55 forester is 48 but as mine is standard height looks stupid with low profile tyres on so need to find the right size:)

Hi thanks im not changing anything else just tyres been told to go for 215/50/17 anyone else got this size tyre on there forester wheels cheers ian:)

Technical is an understatement:) but that Web address is excellent thanks so I can put a 215/55/17 on and the difference in diameter 16"= 664.4 new 17"=668.3 circumference 16"= 2087.3mm-17"=2099.5mm speedo difference 0.58% so 30mph would b 29.82mph 60mph =59.65 so that's not to bad is it phew :)

Yes standard 16's 215/60/16 the 17's have 215/45/17 what is rolling radius sorry if that sound silly :)

Thanks , I've just looked at that site some nice wheels seen a forester near me with wrx wheels on looks nice & I've been offered at set with tyres for £120 in the grey colour but then again I do like the multispoke got to change the tyres as mine isn't lowered so look a bit silly with low profile tyres:)

Is it best to do ctr pipe as well I just want to bring the burble back nothing to loud :)
